Successful initial public offerings of high-profile women-led technology and Internet companies such as Vitria, eBay, Exodus Communications, Digital Island, and Pilot Network Services are making it easier for women entrepreneurs to raise money. As more women-led companies experience successful IPOs, their founders are helping other women break into the boys' network that links venture firms with the companies they build. As a result, VCs and angels are more inclined to fund other promising women entrepreneurs.
